• The CC shall be the intermediary between the Parties and the Funding Authority and shall perform all tasks assigned to him as described in the Grant Agreement and in the Consortium Agreement.
  • The CC shall be responsible for the overall management of the Programme at the central level.

The EB is:

  • the governing body of the MASS consortium;

composed of:

  • the CC (or his deputy)-Chair;

  • one representative (or a deputy) for each of the Full Partners.

The EB is in charge of the general management, overseeing all the aspects related to the delivery of the Programme. In particular,

  • it makes/takes decisions on all organizational and financial issues (e.g. financial and other reports required under the terms of contract with EACEA);

  • it makes/takes decisions about the inclusion of new partners;

  • it defines the Consortium policies and takes strategic long-term decisions;
  • it resolves disputes, deals with controversies between Consortium Members and Programme students.

The decisions of the EB are taken during the plenary meetings, video-conferences, or by email. The EB shall not decide validly unless 100% of its Members are present or represented (quorum).

The TC takes decisions on the main academic aspects of the programme (e.g. changes in the compulsory courses and optional courses, consistency of mobility paths, etc.).

The TC is composed of:

  • one representative of the Third Bodies / Associated Partners;
  • two student representatives (one per ongoing course edition).

The TC is in charge for:

  • evaluating the study programmes of the students and validating their mobility paths, taking account for balance among the Full Partners;
  • supporting students in the selection of the projects for the Master thesis;
  • organizing the mobility of Full and Associated Partners staff.

Additionally, the TC:

  • evaluates the application of candidate visiting scholars and decides about their participation in the MASS programme;
  • monitors any changes in Partner Institutions’ educational offer and validates syllabuses of new courses to be included in the Programme.
